May I provide some history on Greg Hendry in the context of working with him in the pet industry. Greg and Happy Pet were chosen as the strategic partners for Jollyes in regards to sourcing, category strategies and the introduction of white label non food products.

Greg was chosen due to his extensive knowledge of the pet industry, his unrivalled network and his credentials working with other market leaders like Pets At Home.

Greg was a partner that continually went far beyond the remit of most suppliers. He was proactive around spotting category opportunities, introduced Jollyes to his contacts around the World in areas that were out of scope in our arrangement and showed a high degree of flexibility when priorities needed to change at short notice

Ultimately, the partnership between Greg and Jollyes was a very successful one - with sales and margins from our joint category development way beyond forecast - and it was this over delivery that led in part to the successful sale of Jollyes to TDR Capital in March 2024 for a 4.2 x return on investment.
